Grit n Groom was born out of a pivotal moment—a decision to turn complacency into opportunity.
Amanda always considered her birthday (7/7) a lucky day, and on that day in 2024 she drove by the Inspire Salon Suites and the vision for this studio came to life— inspired by the belief that hard work and passion can make dreams a reality.
Today, we strive to be a cornerstone in our town, offering more than just haircuts—we offer confidence, connection, and care.

Meet the Woman behind Grit n Groom
Hello! I’m Amanda, the proud owner and barber behind Grit n Groom Barber Studio. My journey into the hair industry started with a dream of becoming a special FX makeup artist, but along the way, I discovered my true passion—barbering. With over 11 years of experience in the hair industry, I’ve honed my craft and built a career I love, specializing in creating a welcoming space where clients of all ages feel comfortable and confident.
Grit n Groom was born out of a desire to turn a challenging chapter in my life into something meaningful.
I’ve always had a special place in my heart for kids, which is why I chose to specialize in children’s haircuts. I love helping little ones overcome their fears and watching their smiles light up after a fresh cut. Whether it’s a child’s first haircut or a routine trim for someone of any age, my goal is to make every client feel like part of the family.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me enjoying outdoor adventures— hiking Merrill Creek or kayaking in Round Valley Reservoir, playing video games, or relaxing with my three pointy-eared fur children— Oliver, Griffyn and Memaw. Grit n Groom isn’t just my career—it’s my passion, and I’m so grateful for the chance to share it with my community.
