Wedding Party Policy
To ensure a smooth and seamless experience for your special day, please review the following policies for both onsite and offsite services.
1. Booking and Deposit
• A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your wedding party booking. This deposit will be deducted from your final total on the day of the service.
• All bookings must be made preferably one month in advance for onsite bookings and two months in advance for offsite bookings.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 14 days prior to your appointment.
• Cancellations made after the cancellation grace period will result in the forfeiture of the 50% deposit.
3. Onsite Services at Grit n Groom Barber Studio
• Enjoy exclusive access to our private, single-chair studio during your booking.
• Arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time to ensure we can begin promptly.
• If any member of the party arrives more than 15 minutes late, services may be shortened or adjusted to stay on schedule.
• We encourage a relaxed atmosphere, so feel free to bring your own beverages and snacks.
4. Offsite Services
For added convenience, we can come to your venue or any location of your choice. Below are the details and policies for offsite services:
• Travel Fee: A travel fee will apply based on the distance from our studio. Rates start at $25 for locations within 10 miles and increase for locations further away. Exact rates will be provided during the booking process.
• Minimum Booking: Offsite services require a minimum booking of 4 groomsmen.
• Set-up Requirements: The venue should have adequate lighting, a clean working space, and access to electrical outlets for our equipment.
• Parking & Access: Please ensure convenient parking and easy access to the venue. Any additional parking fees or difficult access (e.g., requiring long walks or stairways) must be disclosed and may affect pricing.
• Late Start: To ensure your event runs smoothly, we require all members of the wedding party to be available at the agreed start time. Delays of more than 15 minutes may result in shortened or adjusted services.
5. Payment
• Final payment is due on the day of service and can be made via cash, debit/credit card, or other accepted payment methods.
• Gratuities are appreciated but not required. For offsite services, tips for travel and convenience are welcome.
6. Service Adjustments
• If you or any member of your wedding party is unsatisfied with a service, we will make necessary adjustments on the spot. Please inform us before leaving the venue or studio. Travel Policy for Offsite Services We are happy to offer offsite services for your convenience, but please note the following travel-related policies:
• Travel Radius: We typically service locations within 30 miles of our studio. For locations beyond this radius, additional fees may apply. Please contact us for custom travel requests.
• Travel Fee Structure:
• 0-10 miles: $25
• 10-20 miles: $50
• 20+ miles: $75
(Additional charges may apply depending on distance)
• Overnight Stays: For weddings taking place at distant locations that require overnight accommodations, additional fees for lodging and per diem may apply. Please contact us to discuss these arrangements in advance.
• Weather and Travel Delays: In the event of extreme weather or unforeseen travel disruptions, we will do our best to accommodate or reschedule, but we reserve the right to adjust or cancel offsite appointments for safety reasons.
