At Grit N Groom, we’re committed to giving you beautiful, long-lasting extensions that elevate your look and confidence. In order to maintain the integrity of the service and your investment, the following policy is in place for all extension clients:
✅ Consultation & Booking
- All extension services require an in-person or virtual consultation prior to booking.
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and order your hair.
- Extensions are custom-ordered per client. Once the hair is ordered, it cannot be returned or exchanged.
✅ Goody Bag & Product Usage
- A curated goody bag of professional-grade products will be provided at the time of your extension service.
- These products are specifically selected to ensure the health of your natural hair and the longevity of your extensions.
- Failure to use the recommended products or follow aftercare instructions voids any guarantee on the performance and durability of the extensions. Grit N Groom is not liable for damage caused by unapproved products or improper care.
✅ Maintenance & Follow-Ups
- Regular maintenance appointments are essential to protect your natural hair and extend the life of your extensions. Missing maintenance appointments (typically every 6–8 weeks) can result in damage or tangling.
- If matting or damage occurs due to skipped maintenance, an additional charge may apply for detangling, reinstallation, or removal.
❌ Liability & Results
- Grit N Groom is not responsible for issues arising from client neglect, poor at-home care, or services performed by other stylists.
- While we take every measure to ensure a safe and seamless application, individual results may vary based on hair type, lifestyle, and adherence to care guidelines.
⚠️ Extension Removal
- Extensions must be removed by a professional only. Improper removal can cause severe damage to your natural hair.
- Grit N Groom offers safe removal services and will not be held responsible for damage caused by third-party removals.
📅 Cancellation Policy
- A 24-hour cancellation notice is required. Failure to cancel within the window will result in forfeiture of the deposit and possible booking restrictions.
